In eighteen months, Robert Rauschenberg created thirty-four illustrations for Dante's Inferno, using the technique of transfer drawing. These thirty-four prints were created from the resultant images.

The Carousel Club in Dallas was the nightclub owned by Jack Ruby, who shot Lee Harvey Oswald after learning of Oswald's murder of John F. Kennedy in November 1963.
