Art in Bloom, the DMA’s signature fundraiser, provides critical support for the education- and culture-focused mission of the DMA. The League supports, through volunteers and funding, a number of DMA programs and exhibitions. The League also leads the Floral Endowment Fund and provides fresh floral arrangements throughout the Museum.

Honorary Chair Peggy Sewell, Event Chair Sila Grogan, and Co-Chair Pat McDonough created a special day for all attending. This year’s theme, Art of the Jewel, showcased the work of internationally acclaimed designer Paula Crevoshay, whose botanical collection of bespoke jewelry is inspired by flowers in nature—one-of-a-kind pieces of art. Her stunning intricate designs are both timeless and whimsical. Guests experienced how Crevoshay transforms the ethereal into the material, and, in doing so, transforms the mundane into the divine.
The event also included the announcement and presentation of the inaugural members of the Circle of Gems. As the name implies, these ladies are invaluable to the DMA. For this reason, the Museum is proud to honor them and pleased that they modeled a selection of Crevoshay pieces.
