The Teen Ambassador Program is a rewarding summer volunteering opportunity for DFW-based teens between the ages of 14 and 19 to lead gallery teaching and art-making experiences for children ages 5–12 and their families.

Teen Ambassadors build their self-confidence and learn the value of teamwork and collaboration while exploring the DMA's vast collection.

The Teen Ambassador program operates June through August, with flexible scheduling to accommodate other commitments. Teen Ambassadors must complete at least 20 hours of service with the Museum throughout the summer, and can volunteer up to 40 hours if their schedule permits.

New Teen Ambassadors attend a two-day mandatory orientation at the beginning of June. Once Teen Ambassadors complete their summer commitment, they are offered volunteering opportunities during the school year if their schedule permits.
