Before focusing on books, Long was a freelance illustrator for Time, Reader’s Digest, and Forbes. Long’s works include the award-winning I Dream of Trains by Angela Johnson, the reillustrated edition of The Little Engine That Could by Watty Piper, and Mr. Peabody’s Apples by Madonna.
