The Artists’ and Writers’ Cookbook: A Collection of Stories with Recipes, edited by Natalie Eve Garrett, combines a love of food with a love of storytelling. The book includes intimate, funny, and heartbreaking stories with recipes from some of the most brilliant creative minds of our time: Ed Ruscha, Edwidge Danticat, Anthony Doerr, Joyce Carol Oates, James Franco, Swoon, Rick Moody, John Currin, Elizabeth Alexander, Neil Gaiman, Marina Abramović, and many others. Join artist, writer, and editor Natalie Eve Garrett as she discusses the origins and surprises of the book. A book signing will follow the talk.
This talk is part of Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art.
