Late Night Main Stage featuring Ehsan Matoori

Listen to world music performed by Ehsan Matoori and musicians from the AramArt World Music & Art Institute. Born in Iran, Matoori began learning the santoor at the age of 9 based on Maestro Faramarz Payvar’s method. Nima Niktabe, an Iranian frame drum player, will accompany him. Niktabe has accompanied many musical groups and performed in a number of music festivals, including UNESCO’s 60th anniversary. AramArt is a cultural, educational, and entertainment center that offers a variety of services to the enthusiastic children and adults in the DFW area.

This performance is part of Late Nights at the Dallas Museum of Art.
