The Dallas Museum of Art’s homeschool classes offer an interactive Museum experience for families with children ages 6 and above. Parents and children learn about works of art together in the galleries, participate in hands-on activities as a family, and create a work of art together in the Art Studio. During the program, parents learn techniques and skills for creating their own educational experiences in the gallery.
$5 per participating child for DMA Partners, $8 per participating child for the public. Adults and younger siblings who are not participating in the class do not need a ticket. To register for the class, click here to go to the ticketing website. If you have any difficulties with the new system, call 214-922-1818. If classes are filled, e-mail familyprograms@DMA.org to be placed on a waiting list.
In November, explore the materials used by artist Jim Hodges in the Jim Hodges: Give More than You Take exhibition.
