Join us for a cast reading of selected scenes from Artstillery’s upcoming production of Dirty Turk aka Dirty Immigrant at the Dallas Museum of Art. This innovative production explores the assimilation struggles of first-generation children of immigrant, migrant, and refugee populations in the United States, supported by the base narrative of a Turkish family's migration to the United States in the 1960s and 1970s. Following the reading, hear from residents, the writer, script advisors, and performers whose stories and experiences are uplifted in the script.
