Northwest Passage

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Northwest Passage is a sea route through the Arctic Ocean that connects the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans. Its name comes from European explorers who sought a trade route to the north and west of North America. The passage was not successfully mapped until the early 20th century.

NOTES
Removed TMS tag for 1979.28 as part of the October 2015 revision process.

Was unsure about which departments may have material related to this term. Tagged American, Arts of Asia, Contemporary, Dec Arts, and European Art for now.

As a temporary rule, I will link this term to 1979.28 but it will need a better rule to connect to other objects related to the Northwest Passage.

Changed rule 1/20/2017 to apply to content with Northwest Passage- which is basically all the CCs related to The Icebergs and The Icebergs itself.

Changed the status of this note from routed to completed, June 21, 2016. This note has not been pushed to Google Drive so I am removing the status tags and replacing them with draft and routed. When the note is updated in GDrive and the UMO is resolved, it can be tagged complete. 1/28/2017. Update March 7, 2017- I am removing the routed tag and adding the completed tag. The GDoc has been added to Queta's folders for review.

Attempted to add a line to link to objects that have not been drafted but did not get any object results in the rule tester:
apply to objects where label_copy contains Northwest Passage or where public_notes contains Northwest Passage
