Wongo

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Wongo are a small ethnic group of about ten thousand who live in the Democratic Republic of the Congo where they are neighbors of the Pende and Kuba peoples.  The subsist on farming and fishing.  Their art includes raffia weaving and woodcarving, the styles of which resemble that of their neighbors.
