1984.202.28 Fukuroi: Outdoor Tea Stall



GENERAL DESCRIPTION    
A traveler and his kago (palanquin) bearers have stopped to rest at a rustic tea stall outside the town of Fukuroi. Besides the accommodations available to travelers in the post station towns, there were many halfway stages along the road with inns, tea houses, and shops.

袋井 (Fukuroi) appears next to the title in black, next to which in red is 出茶屋ノ図 (Outdoor tea stall scene).
