GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The rhythmic patterns of trees and rain convey the driving, enveloping atmosphere of a sudden summer rainstorm, in which travelers rush for shelter. Layers of crisscrossing diagonals create a powerful tension, heightened by the oblique forces of the two figure groups.
