GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This salt shaker is part of an unnamed line of tableware produced by Canadian firm Sovereign Potteries which apparently originated from designer Russel Wright’s work for the Edwin M. Knowles Pottery Company. It is possible that these wares were originally designed as prototypes for Knowles' Esquire line or as suggested restylings following its commercial failure.
