GENERAL DESCRIPTION
One of Bruce Conner's most celebrated films, Report revisits the assassination of John F. Kennedy through newsreels and sound clips from the president's speeches along with images of guns and destruction. Created in the years following the event, the film explores Kennedy's own involvement with violence as a hero in the Second World War. Conner includes images of the film strip itself, allowing for the work's existence as a physical object to come through to the viewer and heightening the sensual experience of the filmic medium.

NOTES
