Amy Blakemore's diaristic photographs explore a range of day-to-day subjects that generally insinuate a voyeuristic vantage point. Employing a Diana F medium format camera, an inexpensive and low quality piece of equipment, Blakemore's deft hand-printing skills manipulate the camera's flaws to produce images with a hazy, dreamlike quality. Her photographs evoke a sense of memory and longing and possess a striking and sometimes uncanny familiarity.
