GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This table is the prototype for one commissioned in 1993 by Deedie and Rusty Rose for their Dallas house. Architect and designer Russell Buchanan originally designed this table in 1986, but continued to modify and refine its look over the course of several years. What was once a stationary mass became an axel attached to the steel "U," and the wire cables allow movement and mobility. This prototype is intialed RNB by the artist, dated 1991, and numbered 1.
