Here is the TMS data which was copied for the general description, but Gail's comments were that it sounds weird, and I don't have time to research and write a new description, so I'm removing it upon her suggestion and archiving here.
Hellenistic caleneware from South Italy was a dark-bodied fabric. There are numerous examples of Hellenistic caneware cups, with coin medallions impressed in the bottom of the bowl.
