Rick Joy, FAIA, leads an award-winning architecture, interiors, and planning firm. The studio's work encompasses intimate single-family homes and large-scale master plans, and includes commissions in Miami, New York City, San Francisco, Tucson, Costa Rica, Turks and Caicos, Mexico City, and Austin. Many of Joy's projects are featured in his new monograph Studio Joy Works. Joy has been honored by the American Academy of Arts and Letters and with a National Design Award from the Smithsonian Institute/Cooper-Hewitt Museum. He has been featured in Architectural DigestTravel + Leisure, and the New York Times. Joy will give the second annual Frank Welch Memorial Lecture, The Forum's ongoing tribute to honor Welch’s life and career.
