Whether you’re young or young at heart, the Center for Creative Connections (C3) exists to ignite your curiosity through dynamic activities and works of art from the DMA’s expansive collection.
This unique, 12,000-square-foot learning environment beckons you to:
- Examine works of art with a common theme
- Respond to works of art in new ways
- Interact with local artists and our community
This immersive gallery features a rotating exhibition designed around themes that ignite curiosity and foster relevant conversations.
Explore an interactive art installation for and about the community, created through collaboration between local artists and institutions.
C3 Studio I & II
Participate in hands-on art-making programs for children, teens, and adults.
See storytellers, performances, and lectures during special events as well as video installations from the Museum's collection.
Create early art memories for kids to play and explore based on monthly, art-inspired themes.
Once a year, the C3 accepts applications from North Texas artists to develop an installation related to the upcoming exhibition theme. The selected artist’s work will be installed in the C3 Gallery during the exhibition. Additionally, the artist will work with various DMA Education areas to develop programming that connects with a diverse audience of all ages and abilities. Compensation and project-related funds provided.
