GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Although the Norleans China line was designed in 1949 and introduced to the market the following year, Eva Zeisel did not recieve design patents for the shapes until 1951. The line was initially released with a dozen surface patterns. All of these conservative botanical ornaments may well have been designed by the Mieto staff.
