1983.W.1855 Pedestal cup with equestrian procession (Peru, Inka)


GENERAL DESCRIPTION  
This pedestal cup resembles the Spanish-style goblet, and this form became incorporated into the repertoire of Andean quero designs. The wide-brim hats worn by the figures on this pedestal cup suggest its production within the late 17th and early 18th centuries.
