1945.8 Clara McDonald Williamson, Dallas Skyline Looking South

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
With typical precision and charm, Clara McDonald Williamson, one of Dallas's most beloved artists, delineates the distinctive Dallas skyline, with its landmark of Pegasus atop the Magnolia Building. Largely self-taught, "Aunt Clara" only began painting in her 60s and enjoyed great success both for her memory pictures of childhood as well as for scenes of her surroundings such as this one.
