GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Scored to the music of Miles Davis, this film documents the removal of Jay De Feo's signature work, The Rose, from her San Francisco apartment. After working on it for over eight years, it had grown to weigh over two tons. Conner treats the event as mystical and religious, including priest-like figures in solemn worship of the work of art.
