The Dallas Glass Club

GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The Dallas Glass Club was founded in 1937 and is one of the oldest of its type in the United States. Since the club's organization, its members have devoted themselves to the study and preservation of glass made in the U.S. During the past half century, the club formed a corporate collection containing over two hundred pieces of glass which it presented to the Dallas Museum of Art in 1992. The organization also funded the DMA's Decorative Arts Study Gallery.
